A Note to You, The Parent

I’ll just come right out and say it…Raising children today is very challenging!

With children being exposed to so many unwholesome and outright dangerous behaviors via the media—TV, movies, video games, books, the Internet, and music videos—you have reason to be concerned about how these bad influences will impact your child.

That’s why I want to assure you—you can be confident StoryTimeClub.com is a safe place for your child/children.  In fact, I’ve created a space just for themKidsright here on the site.

When you allow your child access to the computer, and he/she comes here, rest easy.  Once they click on Kids, they’ll find some fun, engaging, and parent approved activities to do.

You’ll see what I mean when you take a look at Kids’ Corner.  Here, you’ll find appropriate activities for students in elementary school.  Even 4th and 5th graders will benefit from watching the video of me reading my book, The Story of the 3 Little Pigs…Revisited.  They’ll see me model reading with emphasis.  And when children learn to read with appropriate emphasis, they’ll breathe new life into their own reading.  They’ll soon discover reading is FUN!

Plus, when you click on Let’s Write!, you’ll find another exercise that’ll engage and stretch their imaginations.  Whether you homeschool or send your child to public school, I invite you to have your child participate.

I’m honored you chose to spend some of your valuable time here at StoryTimeClub.com  Thank you.  And, please, if you have suggestions to make this a more valuable resource for you as a parent, I’d love to hear about it.  I’ll do all I can to assist you on your journey to raise responsible, respectful, and well-rounded children.
